The title says it all. I. Hate. Sponsors. Specifically companies who give money to public figures to get them to advertise a product. This extends past “content creation”, including even celebrity cameos. Why? Because I think those kinds of sponsorships prey on a (falsely placed) parasocial trust in public figures. YouTubers, Twitch streamers, celebrities; all kinds of parasocial relationships are being taken advantage of here.
